What we process
- Reading the wiki anonymously: the web server writes a log file and the self-hosted web analytics service Matomo (running on our own server, no data is passed to third parties) stores: your IP address in anonymised form (the last 16 bits of an IPv4 address / the last 32 bits of an IPv6 address are set to zero), the page requested, date and time, the referring page, and technical information about your browser and device. Analytics data is only collected after you have given consent in the cookie banner.
- Cookies: the wiki sets technically necessary session cookies. Analytics and advertising cookies (Google AdSense) are only set with your consent, which you can change at any time via the "Cookies" link in the page footer.
- Registered users: user name, e-mail address (optional, for password recovery and notifications) and your edits. User accounts are shared between wikipedalia.com and en.wikipedalia.com.
- E-mail: if you contact us, we store your message to process the request.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, as provided by the GDPR. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Please direct requests to redaktion@wikipedalia.com.
